Forget 'Lincoln' — Steven Spielberg takes on 'Laser Cats'

I'm a few days late on this, but Saturday Night Live gave audiences the return of Laser Cats. Andy Samberg and Bill Hader have been trying to get Lorne Michaels to give Laser Cats the green light for seven installments now, this time even enlisting director Steven Spielberg.





SNL's Digital Shorts have been kind of weak as of late, but Laser Cats 7 along with Samberg and Taran Killam's stalking of Gotye showed that the Digital Shorts still have some life. Of course, if Samberg leaves SNL at the end of the season along with Kristen Wiig and Jason Sudeikis, who knows what'll happen to the Digital Shorts.
