Ben Affleck's 'Argo' gets a trailer

The first trailer for Argo, a film directed by and starring Ben Affleck, hit the Internet today. The film centers on a rescue mission during the Iran hostage crisis that required the United States and Canada to convince Iran that the rescue team was actually a film crew.



This looks good. I gotta say that I'm enjoying Affleck's career renaissance. The guy who starred in films like Daredevil and Gigli is long gone. We now have an actor-turned-director who appears to have taken several pages from George Clooney's book. It's still early and this is only a trailer, but with a September release date, Argo might be hanging around for Oscar time.
