Not the Darkest Timeline: 'Community' Goes 8-Bit in Final Episodes
In the first of the three final episodes of this season of Community to air tomorrow, the Greendale Seven will move from the Dreamatorium to the digital world. Of all the timelines, the season hopefully won't end in the darkest timeline, but instead, in the the 8-bit timeline, with the Community study group becoming video game characters.

On Thursday’s episode, they become video game characters to help Pierce (Chevy Chase) stay in the one percent. And The Hollywood Reporter has a first look at the crew’s video game avatars.
Pierce stands to lose his inheritance to his late father’s second-in-command, Gilbert Lawson (Once Upon a Time and Breaking Bad actor Giancarlo Esposito). In order to stop him, the study group will have to play through the game.I really hope that the Emmy voters take a good look at what Community has done this season. The Ken Burns-tribute episode was a television masterpiece. An Emmy win for Community would send a message to NBC that they've got something special with this show.
