Selena Gomez and 'Spring Breakers' Cast Pose in Bikinis for 'Interview' (Bonus James Franco Included)

Harmony Korine, who wrote the screenplay for the controversial Kids, is working on a new movie: Spring Breakers. The film stars Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, James Franco, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine (that would be the wife of the director). Thanks to IMDb, here's the basics:

Four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation find themselves bailed out by a drug and arms dealer who wants them to do some dirty work.

The girls posed for the upcoming issue of Interview magazine, confirming what the Internet has already known and proven about Spring Breakers — no one has idea what the movie is actually about. Or really cares what it's about. This movie is going to be the Snakes on a Plane of girls-in-bikinis movies. It's going to get all this Internet hype, and then not go anywhere.

You were right! This is James Franco with cornrows. I'm going to file Spring Breakers in the "James Franco is doing weird stuff" folder, right along with his cameos on General Hospital, documentaries and the time he hosted the Oscars.

Besides being another showcase for Franco, Spring Breakers has garnered a lot of attention thanks to the online flow of shots of the four female stars constantly in swimsuits. Gomez and Hudgens continue to work to break free of their Disney images, with Hudgens following up her part in Sucker Punch and Gomez carrying on a relationship with the previously underaged Justin Bieber.

Spring Breakers hits theaters in 2013. I don't think Fandango has tickets available yet.
