Will Ferrell Unveils 'The Campaign' Full Trailer on 'Jimmy Fallon'
Will Ferrell seems to have developed a knack for unveiling things on late-night talk shows. His big Anchorman 2 announcement came on an episode of Conan a few weeks ago, and last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, he showed off the full trailer for The Campaign (in addition to wearing tight pants). Earlier this week, we got campaign videos promoting the movie, but this is the movie's first full-length trailer.
I'm hoping that Ferrell breaks out of his mold a bit, giving us something different than the Semi-Pro/Blades of Glory riff on Ron Burgundy. Zach Galifianakis is a new element in the Will Ferrell mix, just like Sacha Baron Cohen was in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, a movie that turned out pretty well. Ferrell found success with the underrated The Other Guys in 2010. The Campaign might be the right mix of Ferrellisms, Galifianakis' mustache and election year humor to deliver another hti.
