THE MTV MOVIE AWARDS 'DARK KNIGHT RISES' FOOTAGE

The Internet is a wonderful, wonderful thing, wasting no time in getting The Dark Knight Rises footage from tonight's MTV Movie Awards online and available for the world to see. The footage runs about a minute and a half and offers a bunch of scenes that we haven't seen yet from Christopher Nolan's upcoming conclusion to his Batman trilogy.

Nolan joined Christian Bale, Gary Oldman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt on stage at the MTV Movie Awards, which was kind of bizarre considering the show just spent almost two hours glorifying junk movies like Twilight.

UPDATE: MTV has now posted the segment from before The Dark Knight Rises clip was shown. Am I the only who thinks the MTV Movie Awards audience was confused when Bruce Wayne started talking in a British accent? See the clip after the jump too.
