In 2001, Grant Cogswell, ran an underdog campaign for Seattle City Council against incumbent Richard McIver, with Phil Campbell serving as his reluctant campaign manager. I won't tell you how the election ended, but if you want to see Joel David Moore and Jason Biggs portray Cogswell and Campbell on the big screen and tell you how it ends, you're in luck. Cogswell's story has been turned into Grassroots, a movie called starring that guy from Grandma's Boy and the American Pie series' lead actor.
