Cookie Monster Just Won the Internet With His Own Version of 'Call Me Maybe'
The geniuses at the Sesame Street Workshop figured out that if you take Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe and add Cookie Monster, you'll get a video that absolutely wins the Internet. Seriously, watch Cookie Monster's Share It Maybe, and then go back to bed. The Internet is over for Tuesday.
This video is so awesome. I love seeing how Sesame Street is keeping itself relevant these days. I grew up watching the show, so it amazes me a bit to realized that at 26, I'm still getting excited to see new videos starring Cookie Monster.
Share It Maybe takes a few cues from the Jimmy Fallon and The Roots version of Call Me Maybe. Is it better than that version? It just might be. The only way to settle this one is to get Cookie Monster on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. C'mon ...
