That Guy from 'Hot Tub Time Machine,' 'Kick-Ass' and 'Superbad' May Be Newest Member of 'The Office'

TVLine is reporting that Clark Duke, who you know best as Hot Tub Time Machine's Jacob, Kick-Ass's Marty and Superbad's Teen at Party, is on the verge of joining NBC's The Office as a series regular. Not much else is known about the role at this point.

Remember how after Season 8 of The Office ended and everyone was like, here are the ways The Office can reclaim its past glory days, and nowhere among those suggestions was keep Catherine Tate or add more cast members? Well, apparently The Office's showrunners didn't remember that either, because everything they've done since the show's season finale has signaled that they're ready to keep charging in the same direction they were going last season.

The Office doesn't need new cast members. It needs to reclaim the chemistry its current cast once had. Look, I'm sure Duke is a nice kid, but The Office shouldn't be adding new characters.
