TRAILER: Superman Soars in First Official 'Man of Steel' Teasers

After teasing us with a longer trailer that premiered at Comic-Con last week, Warner Bros. has finally released the first official teaser trailer for Man of Steel. This version of the trailer doesn't give us nearly as much as the Comic-Con trailer did, but you can still get a pretty good idea of the scale that Zack Snyder is going for with the Superman reboot he's been entrusted with. Like the original teaser trailer for Batman Begins, this teaser focuses mainly on the man who would become the hero, in this case Henry Cavill's Clark Kent.

I love how Christopher Nolan will forever be known as the man behind "The Dark Knight Trilogy" now. Back when Batman Begins was released, we didn't even know that such a trilogy would someday exist.

UPDATE: There are actually two versions of the Man of the Steel teaser trailer, one with Kevin Costner's Jonathan Kent's voiceover and one with Russell Crowe's Jor-El's voiceover. I think the Jor-El version is the one that strikes me more. "In time, they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders," really gets me.
