TRAILER: Clint Eastwood, Justin Timberlake and Amy Adams Have 'Trouble With the Curve'

Last year, Brad Pitt gave us Moneyball, a film that preached the supremacy of statistics over old-fashioned scouting. In 2012, Clint Eastwood has something to say about that. Trouble With the Curve, which stars Eastwood, Justin Timberlake and Amy Adams, tells the story of an aging baseball scout who's losing his vision. Adams plays his daughter, while Timberlake plays a rival scout who may or may not become romantically involved with Adams' character.

I'm going to say that Trouble With the Curve is going to be a player come Oscar season. Eastwood and Adams are familiar Oscar faces, while this film has the chance to be for Timberlake what Moneyball was for Jonah Hill. And speaking of Timberlake, let's all take a moment to realize that in just over a decade, the guy has gone from being a boy bander to now starring in movies opposite Clint Eastwood (and he has a Coen brothers film coming up, too).
