First Look at Miley Cyrus on 'Two and a Half Men' (She'll Probably Win an Emmy for This)

Jon Cryer won an Emmy this past weekend, which was a shock to the entire world, Cryer included. For years, Two and a Half Men has been winning Emmys, proving that the majority of people still can't tell the difference between a show being a critical hit and a show being a ratings hit. Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory are ratings hits. A lot of people who own Nielsen boxes happen to watch shows like this. In no way do high ratings mean a show has any real value though.

Then you have the critical hits. Shows like Community and Parks and Recreation that are absolutely genius but very few people watch. The Emmys don't give Community and Parks and Rec awards, because those voters have gotten sucked into the "confused ratings for quality" syndrome. This is very similar to "confused box office success for quality," a syndrome that anyone who tells you Avatar deserved an Oscar is suffering from.

That said, Miley Cyrus will be joining Two and Half Men on for a stint beginning on Oct. 18. I also learned that Angus T. Jones' half-man character is somehow in the Army now. I can't wait to see Cyrus win her Emmy for a guest appearance in a comedy next year. You may laugh, but I wouldn't be surprised. Head past the jump to check out a few more pics from Cyrus' episode.
