Protect the Prison: 'The Walking Dead' Debuts Season 3 Poster

Entertainment Weekly debuted the official poster for The Walking Dead's third season on Wednesday. Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes, the reluctant leader of the show's group of survivors, is featuring atop an overturned bus, pointing his gun at an unseen target. Is Rick ready to shoot some walkers? The Governor perhaps?

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Oct. 14, 2012. I'm a bit surprised that AMC didn't hold off until two weeks later to time the show's Season 3 premier with Halloween, but with Breaking Bad now on break, I'm ready for The Walking Dead.
