Daniel Day-Lewis in New 'Lincoln' Preview: 'I Am the President of the United States of America, Clothed in Immense Power'

A new preview with never-before-seen footage from director Steven Spielberg's Lincoln was supposed to air on ABC, CBS and CNN during Wednesday night's presidential debate, but seeing as how they never cut to commercial, that was kind of impossible. Never fear, though, since The Bill Kuchman Chronicle has that preview, entitled Unite, here for you.

This preview, basically a new trailer for the film, has a ton of footage showing Daniel Day-Lewis' take on Abraham Lincoln. Day-Lewis may not be an American, but if this preview is a sign of his performance, the actor is going to take home the Oscar for Best Actor for playing America's greatest president. Check out Day-Lewis at the 1:47-mark and then especially at the 1:53-mark. Geez. That's how you win an Oscar, folks.
