OSCARINDEX: 'Lincoln' Reclaims No. 2 Spot, Moves Closer to 'The Master' Than Any Film Has Yet

The Bill Kuchman Chronicle OscarIndex is a nifty chart of the top ten films that you should be paying attention to in order to be ready for the the Oscars. Each film on the list is assigned an OscarIndex number, with the No. 1 film getting a score of 100. The following nine films then get OscarIndex numbers based on how much buzz they have going into the Academy Awards compared to the No. 1 film.

The ten films in the OscarIndex remain the same this week, but with there are some big jumps. Lincoln reclaimed the No. 2 position from Silver Linings Playbook, adding 17 points to its OscarIndex score. Les Misérables and Argo also saw sizable increases. The Master's once-solid grasp on the No. 1 spot grows shakier every week.

Head past the jump to check out the full OscarIndex: October 16, 2012 Edition.
