Pursue Vengeance with the Official 'Django Unchained' Poster (And: Why Tarantino Was Wrong to Diss Disney)

Thanks to Yahoo! Movies, we now have the official poster for Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. The movie hits theaters in just a few weeks and is expected to be a player at the 2013 Oscars. Django Unchained has tumbled in the OscarIndex over the past few weeks, though, sitting at No. 8 as of last week. That said, with a cast that boasts Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio and Christoph Waltz, I'm sure Django Unchained will be just fine come awards time.

Django Unchained is Tarantino's first film since the acclaimed Inglourious Basterds. As of a few days ago, we also know that Star Wars: Episode VII won't be the director's next movie, as Tarantino not only expressed not having any desire to helm the film but also took a shot at Disney in the process. Two funny things about that: One, Disney was never going to ask Tarantino to direct Episode VII. Let's be serious here. And two, Pulp Fiction, a Tarantino film that received a Best Picture nomination, was distributed by Miramax in 1994. In 1994, Miramax was a Disney company. Jerk.

Anyways, check out the full poster for Django Unchained after the jump.
