Welcome, Seth Pohorence: 'Popculturology' Adds Its First Contributing Writer
When Popculturology launched its new branding this week, one of the goals of the new identity was to broaden the site beyond just one person. It wound up not taking very long to start achieving that goal. Today, Popculturology welcomes Seth Pohorence as the site's first contributing writer. Some quick information on Seth:
Bill Kuchman is editor in chief of Popculturology. You can follow him on Twitter at @billkuchman.
If it's obscure, Seth Pohorence knows it. If it happened over 30 years ago, Seth knows it. Despite, growing up without cable, Seth has absorbed enough pop culture for several lifetimes. You have to understand that as an official doctor in comedy, Seth has spent his life watching sitcoms and Mel Brooks films. He has the ability to see comedic timing and stale jokes before it happens. Though to truly understand Seth is that you have to know that he loves vintage beer commercials from the 1980s, Clint Eastwood westerns, new wave albums and foreign films made by Stanley Kubrick.
You can follow him on Twitter at @spohorence to get thought provoking prose that will change your life in 15 minutes or less.Look for Seth's first article to post on Popculturology later today.
