Michael J. Fox Agrees with Tina Fey, Says He Wouldn't Want Taylor Swift Dating His Son

At last Sunday's Golden Globes, Tina Fey jokingly warned Taylor Swift to stay away from Sam Fox, the son of Michael J. Fox. Sam was on hand as Mr. Golden Globe, taking part in the tradition of having the son and daughter of Hollywood stars act as the award carriers during the ceremony. As Swift had just broken up with whatever member of One Direction she had been dating (I think it was the British one), Fey suggested that the serial dater take a break from dating.

Vulture caught up with the elder Fox on Wednesday night and asked him if he agreed with Fey's advice. Here's the exchange Vulture had with Fox.
Would Fox approve of a Sam/Taylor (Saylor) love connection? we asked. "No. No ... Just back off," he told us. "I don’t keep up with it all," he said. "But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right?" Right! "What a way to build a career." So if Swift showed up to a Fox family dinner, how would he react? "I wouldn’t even know who she was," he said. But it'd probably dawn on him after the breakup song hit the radio. "Yeah, exactly," he said. "'Sam, You Piece of Shit.' Oh … that was the girl you brought home!"
Ouch. Swift always seemed like a nice girl, but when Michael J. Fox declares that he wouldn't be interested in you dating his son, you're in trouble.
