January Jones Was Once Refused an Orange Pop Unless She Called It 'Soda'

Mad Men star January Jones was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Monday, and she shared a few stories about when she first moved to New York City. The actress told Jimmy Fallon that she ate at a Sbarro pizza place after visiting the Empire State Building, where the cashier refused to serve her an orange pop until the actress called it "soda."

This is an outrage, America. Now we know why Jones can be so unfriendly at times — she was wronged by the soda advocates at a young age. An innocent South Dakota girl, alone in the big city just looking for an orange pop to comfort her, and the soda lobby couldn't even be kind to her. You people are monsters. Monsters.

Everyone knows it's called "pop." If you're from the Northeast, you're familiar with Wegmans, which is the greatest grocery store chain in the history of the world. They call their store brand WPOP. Case closed. Check out the clip of Jones telling Fallon about the abuse she suffered at the amusement of the soda gestapo.
