Superman and General Zod Prepare for Battle in New 'Empire' 'Man of Steel' Covers

It's now been a week since the newest Man of Steel trailer debuted, and in that time, it seems like Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman reboot has taken a greater hold on our pop culture awareness. People are excited about this movie. Heck, people are even listening to the tiny bit of Hans Zimmer's score that was featured in the trailer as if it were a full-length soundtrack. Warner Bros. is going to have a monster hit on their hands with Man of Steel. I'm incredibly excited about this.

Empire got in on the action on Monday, releasing two covers featuring Henry Cavill as Superman and Michael Shannon as General Zod. Check them both out after the jump.
