'The Wolverine' CinemaCon Trailer Presents Wolverine In All His Claw-Filled Glory

Like Guillermo del Toro and Pacific Rim on Monday, directors and studios seem to finally understand that just because fans can't make it to conventions and see exclusive trailers and movie footage doesn't mean those perks can't eventually be shared down the road. After showing off some unseen footage for The Wolverine at last month's CinemaCon, Fox got smart and released that trailer online on Wednesday.

While the first trailer for director James Mangold's The Wolverine gave a glimpse at the movie's actual plot, the CinemaCon trailer for the movie is pretty much all action. There's definitely doesn't look like there'll be shortage of Hugh Jackman going claws-to-sword with a bunch of samurai in The Wolverine. Also, every time I see this movie's title, I'm reminded how much I love the fact they went with just "The Wolverine." Kind of like how Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy refers to Bruce Wayne's alter ego as "The Batman."
