TRAILER: Kristen Wiig, Annette Bening, Matt Dillon and Darren Criss Work Out Family Issues in 'Girl Most Likely'

Girl Most Likely is an interesting case. Originally titled Imogene, the movie was on track for a 2012 release, with the film itself and stars Kristen Wiig and Annette Bening getting Oscar buzz. I'm not quite sure why Girl Most Likely was held for 2013. An earlier release would have given the film the chance to capitalize on the success of Bridesmaids and Wiig's Oscar nomination. I mean, look at Melissa McCarthy — after Bridesmaids, she's played the exact same role in like four movies, all of them box office successes.

Anyways, Girl Most Likely is now set to hit theaters on July 19, 2013. To get the word out, the movie's first trailer hit the Internet on Thursday. Wiig plays a woman who fakes a suicide attempt to get the attention of her ex-husband, but winds up in the custody of her mother instead. Her mother, played by Bening, is dating a sketchy guy (played by Matt Dillon in full-douche mode) and renting out a room to Darren Criss' character. Check out the trailer after the jump.
