'Godzilla' Remake Gets Awesome New Poster

I love this Godzilla poster. It's gorgeous yet understated, which is pretty great considering that it's depicting a massive monster. Sure, we haven't gotten a full look at director Gareth Edwards' version of Godzilla, but with Comic-Con upon us, there's a good chance that'll come soon.

I happened to see that the 1998 American version of Godzilla had a new blu-ray edition earlier today, and the imagery from that movie couldn't be any different from this new poster. Hopefully things stay that way.

Godzilla stomps into theaters on May 16, 2014, and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen and Ken Watanabe. Head past the jump to check out the new Godzilla poster.
