'Happy Endings' Star Adam Pally Joins 'The Mindy Project' for Multi-Episode Arc

In another reminder that Happy Endings is dead, TVLine reported on Thursday that Adam Pally was joining The Mindy Project for a multi-episode arc. From TVLine:

According to sources, the actor will play a new doctor at the OB/GYN practice where Mindy Kaling’s titular hot mess works.

Pally is the second Happy Endings star to join a Fox show for a guest stint this month, joining Damon Wayans Jr., who will return to New Girl for a few episodes. Pally is also the second star joining The Mindy Project for an arc next season, with James Franco also coming aboard for a few episodes.

Every Happy Endings star that joins another show just makes the show's cancelation even more real. This is dumb. Why'd you done done us dirty, ABC?
