New 'Gravity' Poster Is a Close Encounter With George Clooney

Gravity premiered at the Venice International Film Festival this week, and by the sounds of the reviews streaming out of the festival, director Alfonso Cuaron has an epic film in store for moviegoers. Screenings have drawn ovations and praise for the film's revolutionary camera work. If I had to guess now, we're going to see several major Oscar nominations for Gravity, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress for Sandra Bullock. A nomination (and win?) for Best Cinematography should be a lock too.

With all of that going on for Gravity, it's easy to forget that George Clooney is also in the film. It's not often the actor/director/producer plays second fiddle, but in Gravity, Clooney is billed as a supporting actor. On Thursday, Warner Bros. released a new poster for Gravity featuring Clooney.
