TRAILER: Kermit, Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais and the Gang Head to France in 'The Muppets Most Wanted'

When Jason Segel relaunched the Muppets in 2011, we got lucky. Unlike the Smurfs and Alvin and the Chipmunks, childhood franchises that have been trashed with modern movie adaptions, Segel, James Bobin and Nicholas Stoller clearly love the Muppets and put a great deal of care into making The Muppets a movie that respected the franchise and set it up for a new future.

Even though Segel won't be back for Muppets Most Wanted, Bobin and Stoller are. In this movie, the Muppets head to France. Yes, that's a pretty standard Muppets movie storyline, but if this sequel is anything like the last movie, we'll be in good shape. I mean, The Muppets won an Oscar for Best Original Song.

Muppets Most Wanted hits theaters on March 21, 2014. In addition to Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Animal, Walter and the rest of the Muppets, the movie stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey.
