TRAILER: Daniel Radcliffe and Dane DeHaan Are Murderous Poets in 'Kill Your Darlings'

When it comes to upcoming films, there are few 2013 releases that have gotten more buzz than Kill Your Darlings. The film premiered at Sundance to rave reviews and currently has a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes. Kill Your Darlings stars Daniel Radcliffe as Allen Ginsberg, focusing on the poet's increased entanglement with other members of the Beat Generation. Based on the trailer, the film focuses on the relationship between Lucien Carr, played by Dane DeHaan, and David Kammerer, played by Michael C. Hall, which eventually ended with Carr murdering Kammerer.

While Kill Your Darlings represents a key step in Radcliffe's path from Harry Potter star to becoming a man with a full cinematic career, the film is also another piece in DeHaan's growing resume. After Chronicle, the actor has gone onto star in The Place Beyond the Pines and assumes the role of Harry Osborn in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The actor has also been involved in the latest round of Star Wars casting chatter.

Kill Your Darlings opens in limited release on Oct. 16. The film is directed by John Krokidas and stars Radcliffe, DeHaan, Hall, Elizabeth Olsen, Ben Foster, Jennifer Jason Leigh, David Cross and Kyra Sedgwick. Head past the jump to check out the first trailer for Kill Your Darlings.
