Samuel L. Jackson Confirms That Elizabeth Olsen Is in 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron'

With the exception of James Spader as Ultron, we haven't gotten much official casting news from The Avengers: Age of Ultron. There have been a lot of rumors, Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlett Witch and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver being the two biggest supposed castings. While Taylor-Johnson has actually talked about how he would tackle the role, Olsen has been mum.

Samuel L. Jackson, however, is not known for keeping mum. While talking to the Wall Street Journal about his Agents of SHIELD cameo, Jackson let it slip the Olsen is already on board for the Avengers sequel.

“I don’t think we begin shooting before March of next year,” Jackson said of “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the next film to begin shooting in the Marvel universe. ”I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen [who will play the Scarlet Witch], but I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script.”

When's Marvel going to start making these announcements? Yeah, we know about Spader, but let's make Olsen and Taylor-Johnson official.
