'SNL' PROMOS: Miley Cyrus Reveals to Taran Killam Why She's Always Sticking Out Her Tongue

The last time Miley Cyrus hosted Saturday Night Live, the singer was a very different person. Back in March 2011, you probably couldn't tell the difference between Cyrus and SNL castmember Vanessa Bayer's impersonation of her. The real-life Cyrus wasn't much different from her Hannah Montana persona.

Then came the haircut. And the twerking. The Cyrus who returns to host and be the musical guest at SNL this weekend is almost unrecognizable compared to that 2011 version. In the SNL promos released by NBC on Wednesday, Cyrus and Taran Killam discuss these changes. Thanks to the promos, we now have the answer to why Cyrus is constantly sticking out her tongue.
