Judd Apatow to Direct Amy Schumer's 'Train Wreck' Movie

Despite attaching his name to a ton of movies, Judd Apatow hasn't actually directed many of them. People tend to think of him when they think of Anchorman, Talladega Nights or Superbad, but Apatow actually only produced those movies, drawing from his Freaks and Geeks talent pool in the process. In reality, Apatow has only directed four films, which makes it kind of a big deal when he signs on to direct one.

In August, we learned that Apatow would produce a movie written by and starring comedian Amy Schumer. On Wednesday, Variety reported that Apatow would now direct that movie, which will be called Train Wreck.

No word yet on what Train Wreck will be about or when it'll hit theaters. Can we start placing bets now whether or not Apatow will cast his wife, Leslie Mann, in the movie?
