'I'm' Coming Back': Matthew McConaughey Promises to Save Humanity and Come Back in 'Interstellar' Trailer

With his Batman days behind him, director Christopher Nolan has set his sights on a new frontier ... the final frontier. Nolan's next film is Interstellar, a movie about "the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage." There's probably going to be time travel too.

Matthew McConaughey will continue his hot streak by starring in Interstellar, playing a father who joins that grow of adventures in hopes of saving humanity. Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Ellen Burstyn and Michael Caine also make up the cast.

The first trailer for Interstellar debuted before the weekend, and it definitely looks like a Nolan film. If this is the beginning of the director's next career phase, Nolan's in good shape.

Interstellar opens on Nov. 7.
