Fifth 'Bourne' Movie Delayed Until July 2016
Forget the Bourne Identity. Or the Bourne Ultimatum. Or even the Bourne Legacy. Let's talk about the Bourne delay. On Wednesday, Universal Pictures moved the fifth Bourne movie from Aug. 14, 2015, to July 15, 2016. The untitled Bourne movie will see Jeremy Renner return as spy Aaron Cross.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "the move was made so that the August 2014 date could be used for Straight Outta Compton, the upcoming film about the rise and fall ofgangsta rap pioneers N.W.A."
Despite the release date change, it sounds like Fast and Furious franchise director Justin Lin is still attached to helm Bourne 5.
