Naomi Watts Joins 'Divergent' Sequels

The Hunger Games isn't the only YA movie franchise that can bring Oscar-nominated talent on board. The Divergent franchise added Naomi Watts, with The Hollywood Reporter writing that the Impossible star will play Evelyn, the leader of the Factionless.

Watts will play a part in the next three Divergent sequels, with Insurgent opening on July 15, 2015, and the two-part Allegiant opening on July 18, 2016, and July 24, 2017.

She joins a cast already made up of Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Jai Courtney, Ansel Elgort, Ray Stevenson, Zoe Kravitz, Octavia Spencer, Miles Teller, Maggie Q and Kate Winslet. Flightplan director Robert Schwentke takes over for Divergent director Neil Burger.
