The Wachowskis' 'Jupiter Ascending' Delayed Until 2015
Apparently 2014 won't be the year that Andy and Lara Wachowski try to prove to the world that they weren't one-hit wonders as directors. The sibling duo's next film, Jupiter Ascending, was supposed to hit theaters on July 18, but Warner Bros. has pushed the film's release back to Feb. 6, 2015.
Deadline reports that visual effects work on Jupiter Ascending wasn't going to be done in time to make the movie's original release date.
I guess if you were really jonesing for a new Wachowski siblings movie, you can always watch Cloud Atlas again. Seriously, with the exception of the first Matrix and maybe V for Vendetta, the Wachowskis haven't delivered as directors in a long time. Jupiter Ascending looks like more of the nonsense that sunk Cloud Atlas.
