'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Poster Announces Show Will Be Back for 'Same Shift, Different Day'
Brooklyn Nine-Nine was probably the best new network comedy last season, taking home two Golden Globes. In a world where network TV destroys shows like Happy Endings and Community, it's hard to find a really good sitcom that a network will stand behind.
Fox has definitely supported Brooklyn Nine-Nine, giving it a early second-season pickup and awarding it the cushy post-Super Bowl slot. That said, the network has made the interesting move of sending Brooklyn Nine-Nine to Sundays, pairing it with The Simpsons, Family Guy and Mulaney. While Fox's Sunday nights have always been about animated comedy, a live-action show is still unproven.
