Jennifer Lawrence Wanted for Quentin Tarantino's 'Hateful Eight'

Jennifer Lawrence has been in X-Men movies, won two Oscars, and built a fanbase through The Hunger Games movies. Is she ready to add a Quentin Tarantino film to her résumé? According to Collider, the actress is in talks to join Tarantino's next movie, The Hateful Eight.

"We can say that Lawrence is in talks to join the film, and this is not a 'wish-list' thing where she's one of many actresses being considered for a role," Collider writes.

Lawrence has a busy schedule, with the final Hunger Games film, another David O. Russell picture and X-Men: Apocalypse all on her calendar.

I'm not a diehard Tarantino fan, but I do enjoy seeing different actor and actors take a turn in his world. Watching Brad Pitt and Jamie Foxx work with Tarantino in Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained brought new elements to both of the actors' careers. One of the greatest disappointments over the past few years of movie whatifs was that Will Smith passed on Django Unchained because he couldn't be in a movie where he wasn't the lead.

Lawrence has already carved out quite the career for herself — The Hateful Eight would be a fascinating addition.
