Chris Pratt and Sarah Silverman to Host 'SNL'

Saturday Night Live has revealed who will host the first and second episodes of the show's 40th season.

Chris Pratt (Sept. 27 with musical guest Ariana Grande): Thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy and The Lego Movie, Pratt is now America's best friend. He'll make his SNL debut when he hosts the season premiere. When predicting over the summer what duo would kick off the 40th season of SNL, Pratt and Grande were the most popular pick — looks like the Internet got that one right.

Sarah Silverman (Oct. 4 with musical guest Maroon 5): Former SNL castmember Silverman returns to SNL for the second episode of the season. Silverman follows in the footsteps of Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler when it comes to former female SNL members who returned to host.
