Christian Bale Bails on STEVE JOBS

The Steve Jobs biopic has lost another lead actor. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christian Bale has dropped out of the upcoming movie.

Sources say Bale, after much deliberation and conflicting feelings, came to the conclusion he was not right for the part and decided to withdraw.

Bale becomes the second actor to pass on the movie, which will be directed by Danny Boyle. Leonardo DiCaprio was previously connected to Steve Jobs but also passed on the project.

What's up with this movie? This is a premiere project, with Boyle directing and Aaron Sorkin writing the screenplay. Films like this win Oscars — why are stars like DiCaprio and Bale avoiding it? Where does Sony turn next? Someone has to play Steve Jobs.
