Natalie Portman Goes Western in First JANE GOT A GUN Pics

If we get pictures from a movie, does that mean that movie is finally, actually happening? Jane Got a Gun has had more than its share of issues, but the Natalie Portman flick appears to be on track for a fall 2015 release, with new pictures from the movie being released on Monday (via Hitfix).

Jane Got a Gun stars Portman, Joel Edgerton and Ewan McGregor. That wasn't always the cast lineup, though. Michael Fassbender was originally one of Jane Got a Gun's male leads, but he left the project and was replaced by Jude Law. Law also left. He was replaced by Bradley Cooper ... who then also left. Once McGregor boarded the film, the cast was finally set.

The movie also had director issues, with Lynne Ramsay failing to appear to work one day. Ramsay was replaced by Edgerton's Warrior director, Gavin O'Connor.

As if casting and director shuffles weren't enough, Jane Got a Gun has bounced from Aug 29, 2014, to Feb. 20, 2015, to its current release date of Sept. 4.
