FIRST LOOK: Angela and Shawn's Dad Are Back in GIRL MEETS WORLD

We only just learned a few days ago that Girl Meets World was bringing in two classic Boy Meets World characters for its second season, and now we have our first look at Angela and Shawn's dad on the Disney Channel show.

Entertainment Tonight debuted two pics from Girl Meets World's upcoming season on Thursday. The first features Trina McGee's Angela with Rowan Blanchard's Riley Matthews and Rider Strong's Shawn Hunter. The second shows Blake Clark as Shawn's ghost dad looking on while Shawn talks to Sabrina Carpenter's Maya and her mom played by Cheryl Texiera.

So how will Angela and Shawn's dad play into Girl Meets World?

"We decided that we wanted to run Shawn through an evolution [in Girl Meet World's first season]," Boy Meets World/Girl Meets World creator Michael Jacobs told Entertainment Tonight. "We'll first see him in the reunion episode during the holidays and then we'll see him in another episode later this season that actually sort resolves what happened between Shawn and Angela."

During Season 1 of Girl Meets World, there was a push to get Shawn together with Maya's mom, which would make him the possible step-father of his best friend's daughter.
