FULL HOUSE Sequel Series FULLER HOUSE May Be Coming to Netflix

Have mercy. Full House is on the verge of joining the 1990s resurgence, with TVLine reporting that Netflix is close to picking up a sequel series called Fuller House for a 13-episode run.

According to TVLine, Fuller House will star Candace Cameron Bure as DJ Tanner and Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler. John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier are expected to make guest appearances, with Stamos also serving as a producer.  Jeff Franklin, who created the original Full House, will be an executive producer.

There were reports this past August that a Full House resurrection was in the works. Like TVLine's report today, the efforts a few months ago were being led by Stamos and Franklin, with Bure, Barber, Saget and Couiler all participating. That report also had Jodie Sweetin, who played middle Tanner sister, Stephanie, in the mix.

A Full House sequel series focused on DJ and Kimmy isn't exactly what I envisioned whenever I thought about the show coming back. (Honestly, I've been pitching Have Mercy!, a show focused on Uncle Jesse trying to raise twin teenagers, for years.) Hopefully that's not what Fuller House is going to be about and we're just waiting for a few more returning castmembers to sign on for the Netflix project.

Will Fuller House include Jimmy Fallon?
