If You Ask, Adam Scott (and Ron Swanson) Will Party at Your Dorm
Adam Scott was on The Late Show Monday night, and the Parks and Recreation star shared a story about the time he was invited to party with some college kids. With Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson himself). In a dorm. This story is one Rob Lowe away from the craziest college party ever.
Honestly, my friends and I would have been part of the group telling Scott and Offerman to "Come drink beers with us up in our dorm." This seems like a thing college students wouldn't hesitate to do. I would have been shocked if a celebrity actually replied, "Yeah, I'll do that," like Offerman did. Could you imagine hanging out with Ron Swanson in your dorm?
Normally, I don't watch David Letterman's show. I don't find him to be very funny, so I basically forced myself to sit through the opening of The Late Show just to get to Scott. I know that people love Letterman and that he's idolized by Conan O'Brien and other, younger comedians, but I just don't get it. The guy gives off a clear "I really don't want to be here nor do I like any of you" vibe. Bill Carter's book, The War for Late Night, pointed out how Letterman shoots his Friday episodes earlier in the week. A host who truly loved working on his show wouldn't do that.
