'The Amazing Spider-Man' Gives You a Closer Look at the Lizard
I think it's funny that Sony gave director Marc Webb the OK to use the Lizard in The Amazing Spider-Man, his franchise reboot. When Sam Raimi helmed the Spider-Man series, he spent three movies setting up the Lizard, weaving Doc Conners into his movies, teasing fans that the villain would someday show up. Well, we got Topher Grace's Venom instead, and now Raimi is gone. The Lizard, though, is finally ready to make his big entrance.
The Amazing Spider-Man is playing up the Parker family secrets, something that the Ultimate Spider-Man series did too. We can see Doc Conners working at Oscorp and talking about his connection to Richard Parker, Peter's father, in this video. Rhys Ifans appears to be a great choice for Conners.
With the heavy Oscorp presence in The Amazing-Spider Man, what are the odds we get a Norman Osborn cameo? And who would play him?
