Like McAdams Loves Gosling: Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell Prepare 'Lazy Sunday' Sequel?

After last weekend's 100th Digital Short celebration, I assumed that Saturday Night Live had retired the segment that revitalized the show back 2005. Andy Samberg is most likely gone after this season (leaving with Kristen Wiig and Jason Sudeikis), and I really didn't see SNL continuing the Digital Shorts without Samberg and his Lonely Island crew.

Well, it seems like SNL and Samberg might have one last Digital Short surprise in store for us: A sequel to Lazy Sunday, the first Digital Short to go viral. TheInsider.com has the report:

Andy was spotted with Narnia co-star Chris Parnell filming a segment for Saturday's season finale outside Magnolia Bakery in NYC's West Village. And as everyone knows, that's where these two go when a mother f*cking snack attack takes over.

I never understood why Chris Parnell was fired from SNL, but he has remained close with NBC, appearing as Dr. Spaceman on Lorne Michaels' 30 Rock from time to time. If Samberg and Parnell are back at Magnolia Bakery, this sequel is probably happening. What a way to close out the Digital Shorts.

Mick Jagger hosts the season finale of SNL tomorrow, with the Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire as special guests.
