Olivia Munn's 'The Babymakers' Gets a Poster

On Friday night, Olivia Munn tweeted out the poster to her upcoming movie, The Babymakers. The movie doesn't have a release date yet, but it's expected sometime within the next year. Paul Schneider, who played Mark Brendanawicz on Parks and Recreation, plays a husband who can't get his wife (Munn) pregnant. Instead of considering adoption or something logical like that, the husband decides to steal back a deposit of his from a sperm bank.

The Babymakers is directed by Broken Lizard's Jay Chandasekhar, best known as Super Troopers' Ramathorn and Beerfest's Barry Badrinath. Broken Lizard is breaking out of its usual group of cast members with The Babymakers, which is a good thing since their last outing, The Slammin' Salmon, was kind of awful.

Munn's not giving up on the acting thing, is she? She has a role in Aaron Sorkin's The Newsroom and a small part in Magic Mike. Hopefully the Sorkin touch will rub off on her, as she she was probably the weakest link in NBC's Perfect Couples last year.

Speaking of weakest links, I had completely forgotten about Schneider and the time he spent on Parks and Rec. Mark Brendanawicz was a huge character on the show in the beginning, even acting as a love interest for Leslie Knope. I like to pretend that first season and a half of Parks and Rec doesn't even exist. Once Adam Scott and Rob Lowe joined, that's when the real Parks and Rec started.
