'Live to Rise': Rock out with the Avengers and Soundgarden

With Audioslave out of commission, Chris Cornell obviously needed something to do with his time. So, in addition to getting Soundgarden back together (or maybe just as an excuse to get Soundgarden back together), Cornell and his band signed on to perform the lead single from The Avengers movie soundtrack. Live to Rise, that very single, has a very classic Soundgarden feel. (Or, a feel similar to Audioslave? They're basically the same thing.)

Cornell and Soundgarden don't actually interact with Iron Man or any of the other Avengers in this music video, but there appears to be a tesseract in their studio. Which I think makes it start snowing. They may want to get that checked out. Anyways, if you've read The Avengers review and gotten yourself up to speed with The Avengers guide, you might as well watch this music video




Interestingly enough, Cornell has already performed the main song for another franchise, going solo on Casino Royale's You Know My Name.
