'Neighborhood Watch' has a new name and a new trailer

After the Trayvon Martin shooting, 20th Century Fox realized that Neighborhood Watch, the original title of its upcoming movie starring Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill and Vince Vaughn, now had an ugly connotation. It looks like if the premise of a neighborhood watch group fighting aliens is something you'd be interested in, you'll now be watching a movie called The Watch on July 27.

In addition to announcing the movie's new name, Fox also released a red-band trailer for The Watch. It's NSFW, but it's the weekend, so go ahead and watch it freely.




In addition to The Lonely Island's Akiva Schaffer directing, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg co-wrote the screenplay. The Rogen-Goldberg writing duo has already brought us Superbad and Pineapple Express, two excellent comedies, so that bodes well for The Watch.
