Adam Sandler's Father's Day Song: Someone Please Rescue Andy Samberg

On Friday's episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Adam Sandler continued his onslaught of That's My Boy promotion by singing a very, very lame Father's Day song. And sadly, Andy Samberg showed up to join in.

Can someone please rescue Samberg from Sandler's clutches? With his Digital Shorts, Samberg and the Lonely Island saved Saturday Night Live from irrelevancy while also changing the viral video forever. Sandler was funny about twenty years ago when he was making movies like Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. Why is Samberg allowing himself to become just another member of Sandler's club of mediocrity?

Andy Samberg, if you're going to leave SNL to focus on your movie career, this is not the path you want to take. You're better than that.
