TRAILER: Michael Shannon's a Hitman in 'Iceman' (Who Shoots James Franco?)

I was talking to people at work about Michael Shannon for some reason today, which inevitably led to me raving about his performance in last year's Take Shelter. Seriously, if you haven't seen Take Shelter yet, go Netflix it and watch it immediately. It was one of the best film's of 2011, and Shannon shouldn't been in deep in the Oscar conversation for Best Actor.

While I'm looking forward to seeing Shannon's take on General Zod in next year's Man of Steel, this trailer for Iceman has captured my interest. Shannon plays a hitman who keeps his secret profession hidden from his family, with Ray Liotta, Chris Evans (wearing a crazy wig), Winona Ryder and James Franco filling out the cast. When it comes to playing menacing, Shannon just might be the best in the game right now.
