Yes, Johnny Depp Still Has a Bird on His Head in New 'The Lone Ranger' Poster and Images

I'm not quite sure how Disney's reboot of The Lone Ranger is going to turn out. The studio canceled the movie at one point after the budget got out of control. There were rumors that director Gore Verbinski was going to give The Lone Ranger a supernatural twist, adding werewolves to the story just like Disney had added undead pirates to The Pirates of the Caribbean. Verbinski got the movie's budget down (no word on whether or not the werewolves got cut), and The Lone Ranger is ready to ride again.

MSN released several new images from The Lone Ranger on Tuesday to go along with the unveiling of the movie's first official poster. The Lone Ranger stars The Social Network's Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger and makeup enthusiast Johnny Depp as Tonto. Based on the billing on the poster and Tonto being featured so prominently, I'm starting to wonder if Depp's character is going to overtake the Ranger in this movie.
